We are looking for an experienced leader to run a high-performing team of Program Managers and drive delivery of next-generation automotive technologies that connect to the Azure Cloud. We are looking for a leader with energy, strong technical ability, and great listening skills. You will be on the front line of our automotive efforts, leading and building a team of PMs and representing the team across engineering organizations and to Microsoft & customer senior executive teams.
We are focused on automakers, mobility service providers, and fleet service owners who sell and lease mobility as well as vehicles to consumers. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, business development and industry teams. You will also interact with customers directly to gather requirements and work on design to deliver the right solutions. As a member of our team, you will participate in all stages of our engineering lifecycle - from initial research and discovery, quick iteration on ideas, solution prototyping and development, and through successful delivery.
You will also be responsible for:
Working closely with distributed development team to build a well-defined product roadmap.
Partner with our customers to understand their needs and translate feedback into technical requirements
Ensure successful delivery of the product values in collaboration with the feature development team and partnerships across Microsoft teams.
Working closely with the business development and industry teams to scale and reach the right customers.
7+ years of experience in a technical program manager role
BS or MS in computer science, related degree, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or similar cloud computing platforms
Experience with creating detailed roadmaps to coordinate the efforts of the engineering, business development, and industry teams towards solutions and products that delight customers in the marketplace.
Experience working with the automotive industry, embedded device development, or IoT devices.
Ability to travel for business (up to 25%)
