Teams addresses the needs of a diverse workforce by bringing together several tools and communication methods (calling, meeting, first, second and third-party apps) as a hub for collaboration.

Special Clouds enable additional groups of customers to use teams. These customers may require data residency in their country, isolation from inbound/outbound internet traffic, or even limiting access to Microsoft engineering. This Program Manager will work across teams to deliver new environments like these for customers and work with partner teams to launch new features in these environments.

*Gather requirements and write specs defining features for Teams special clouds. This will require working closely with internal engineers and PM/engineers in various partner teams such as Azure & Office 365.

*Present to management & customers a roadmap for feature delivery.

*Provide technical and product leadership to a team of highly passionate engineers.

*Work closely with partner teams, building trust and influencing how they can help deliver requirements for special clouds.

*Manage a schedule for timely delivery of features both within Teams & across different partner teams.

*Remain current on industry best practices as well as those used across other Microsoft products.


*2+ years of experience as a Program Manager
*A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or *practical experience is required.
*Great written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can applied across organizational levels
*Good influencer – able to influence other teams based on customers need for compliance and security features for Teams
*Ability to build trust with customers & internal and external partners through quality delivery and integrity
*Good product foundation & ability to learn quickly. Passionate for the security & compliance space.

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience working on delivering cloud services for the US government entities or contractors
*Experience delivering cloud services in many regions worldwide.
*Experience in building cloud service solutions
