The M365 Trust team is looking for a highly driven Program Manager to help drive and maintain compliance and trust activities within the intelligence layers of Office 365.

Responsibilities

One of the core values Office 365 brings to customers is the intelligence substrate upon which customers receive added value on top of the data they trust us with. The candidate will work with various data scientist teams to define scalable and trustworthy data modelling and machine learning techniques as well as being an overall compliance champion to the day to day intelligence engineering teams ensuring teams are following all Office 365 compliance and regulatory obligations.

We are looking for an optimistic and positive team member who focuses on what is possible and doesn’t get stuck with what is wrong. We need someone who is pragmatic and who can accept (and is excited) that each day brings new challenges. We are at the start of long journey, so we need someone who can prioritize, focus and get work done!

A background in privacy and compliance will help considerably for this role. You will be presented with technical complications daily where you are expected to have a solid understanding of data taxonomies , data handling and compliance control frameworks. You should feel comfortable participating in external audits and be able to clearly articulate complex processes in a simple yet understandable way.

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience with a focus on day to day operations
  • Clear focus on pragmatic solutions to practical problems
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence & drive decisions
  • BS/MS in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Stellar cross group collaboration (soft skills)
  • Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments
  • Previous experience with compliance certifications and audits would be helpful (ISO 27001, FISMA/FedRAMP, SOC, etc.)
  • Previous experience in security would be helpful (access control, penetration testing, token management, data encryption, etc.).
