Position Description:

We are seeking a Launch Manager for the Planning and Launch Anti-Corruption portfolio team.

The Anti-Corruption portfolio sits within the Compliance Initiatives team within Microsoft Business Operations are is responsible for managing launches and projects across all channels/Sales motions (Partner Led, Field Led, Direct and Inside Sales) related to anti-corruption. We are a fast-paced, results-oriented team that interacts with Corporate stakeholder groups, Finance, CELA, Global Sales & Marketing, Engineering and many more organizations to understand strategy, align on priorities and to delivery products/programs to market that are both compliant and a best-in-class experience for our customers.

This role will be responsible for leading across all facets of launch from the creation of project plans to the final execution. The experienced individual will build strong relationships with clients and counterparts and lead relevant discussions to operationalize the work that directly impact the business vision and strategy. Once impacts are assessed and plans are built, this role will lead a launch team leveraging the Operations Delivery Lifecycle (ODLC) to bring these changes to market, tracking risks/issues, and ultimately ensuring excellence in delivery. In addition to ensuring launch readiness execution, this role will be key in supporting the discipline of launch through artifact authoring and management, partnership with the broader launch community to identify and execute process improvements, documentation and roll-out to the broader organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in working effectively in cross-functional international teams, possess strong leadership & organizational skills and be able to positively influence others. Additionally, the candidate should be able to think creatively, have a growth mindset and a strong hunger to learn and improve



  • Accountable for Project Management of all facets of Anti-Corruption Compliance launches from concept to release through the planning and execution phases.
  • Manage project launch teams, facilitating effective meetings and driving key decisions with stakeholders to ensure a solid Plan of Record
  • Identify and manage project risks to reduce escalations and poor experience due to gap in understanding or adherence to process.
  • Identify requirements and capture a working Plan of Record, driving change control, managing risks/issues and escalations, triage, cross group orchestration and milestone management
  • Be a Trusted Advisor to business clients and other business stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations with stakeholders; act as a single point of contact for queries and escalations around the project; create required ODLC artifacts and provide global communications that touches the right levels of the organization.
  • Help evolve our launch processes and infrastructure for more efficient and effective launch capabilities across Microsoft.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Operations
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and managing short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the organization is essential
  • Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management; conflict/negotiation management; independent, flexible and proactive in your approach.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional, global teams to drive for results and solve problems.
  • Background in compliance related industry or function (operations, finance, security, anti-corruption)
  • Experience with process improvement or process development
