About the Position

On our team, you will drivethe modern, web-basedappmodel forMicrosoft365, enabling developers to build deep integrationsacross the product suitethatare easy for users to acquire/use/embraceandthattravel with them across devices and platforms seamlessly. You’ll do this by building a platform that makes it easy for developers to build powerful, performant, high-quality integrations using standard web technologies and tools.You will partner with teams acrossMicrosoft365 and work directly with engineering and design to take a broad view on the platform, thinking not only about the traditional topics of APIs and extension points, but also about how composing these experiences impacts the user experience.

  • Deeply understanding the needs ofMicrosoft365developers (both first- and third-party)
  • Seeking out community input whenever possible, and using their feedback to guide your work
  • Partnering closely within our team and outside of it to deliver the platform
  • Driving the near-term optimization and delivery of the platform as well the long-term strategy for supporting our ecosystem and helping it move forward
  • Thinking big and moving quickly with a sharp focus on telemetry, experimentation, and business outcomes
  • Planningfor and leadingproduct reviews with engineeringleaders across the company

  • 7+ years of industry experience
  • Experience settingplatformstrategy
  • ExperiencedefiningAPIs andplatformextension points
  • Experience shipping at global scale overmultiple releases
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering and design
  • Passion forbuildingsoftware that humans love
  • Curiosity and self-motivation to explore new ideas
  • Great communication and cross-team collaboration skills
