Do you want to enable users to leverage innovative UI and planet-scale data engines to understand and engage their customers? Are you passionate about building beautiful and functional user experiences? Our team owns the front end for Product Insights, Microsoft’s new multi-channel engagement analytics service.

We enable enterprises to weave their customer data together with web and mobile engagement events to power customer 360 analytics. We are a fun and collaborative team and you will have opportunities to work on various components of the product.


The team is looking for an experienced developer to drive cross-team UX features with dependencies on Power BI and service teams across our group. This role requires strong collaboration skills---you will work directly with PM and Design to ensure that the UX effectively abstracts customer usage analytics concepts. Our service is built with React and TypeScript and deployed on the Azure cloud. Ideal candidates will have production React experience, with a history of shipping well-designed and tested client features. This role offers wide scope, ownership, and influence in decisions related to architecture, features, and product strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of industry software engineering experience
  • Experience building and shipping accessible, maintainable, production-quality web client code

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise with TypeScript, React, Redux, Webpack
  • Excellent software engineering habits, including peer code reviews, object-oriented design, unit testing, integration testing
  • Application development and deployment experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Experience with data, analytics, visualization libraries (d3, Highcharts), and related technologies
  • Strong interest in staying current with industry trends and techniques
