Interested in a start-up like environment? Passionate about Cloud Computing technology and driving growth and maturity for a very visible and ambitious program? Then the Azure Dedicated team is the right place for you! Azure is the fastest-growing business in Microsoft’s history and is the foundation of Microsoft’s commercial Cloud Services. Azure differentiates itself as the only hyper-scale, enterprise-grade Cloud that has a true hybrid story. We are hiring developers to help drive our Azure special projects focused on enabling global scale V1 offerings.

The Azure Dedicated team is responsible to accelerate Azure cloud share and usage by investing in products, platforms, and technologies necessary to expand the total addressable market (TAM) for Azure outside of our primarily Hyper-V-based cloud. As customers evacuate datacenters they own and operate, they continue to: seek bare-metal solutions enabling them to reduce their own IT investment, realize more reliable services levels, increase efficiency, and optimize for seamless cloud operating models provided by Microsoft and its partners.

The team culture values engineering quality, technical excellence, grass roots innovation, and collaboration. We foster a supportive and productive work environment to provide growth avenues for each team member.

We seek highly motivated and talented engineers to design and deliver the Azure Dedicated platform, including replication systems, highly available systems, large scale algorithms, dynamic and high-performance solutions at massive scale. We seek skills in software engineering with some understanding of containers/microservices and some understanding of networking a huge plus.

You will have an ample opportunity to participate in all stages of our engineering lifecycle - from initial research and discovery, quick iteration on promising concepts, solution prototyping, and development, all the way through successful service rollout and Livesite support.

You will have opportunity to work on all layers of product stack – from the agents running on the containers, backend services to UI.

This position is collaborative – requires working with many partner teams, learning and understanding how to use their technology.
