We are looking for a talented iOS Software Engineer to help the team deliver brand-new real time collaboration experience in core messaging for Microsoft Teams iOS app. The ideal candidate should be a creative problem solver and diverse thinker—who cares about culture as well as developing features and engaging the communities they serve. You will be building innovative solutions that leverage state of the art mobile technologies to deliver the next evolution of collaboration and productivity features for Microsoft Teams. As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our tight-knit group of dedicated problem solvers. You should be able to quickly make an impact on the mobile team and work with the larger Microsoft Teams mobile engineering organizations to deliver an innovative and enjoyable experience to our hundreds of millions of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver iOS experiences that are highly crafted and rewarding to the enterprise users, teams and communities.
  • Collaborate with server, web, desktop, design, and product teams to ensure the goals of the product are aligned with the delivered feature or service.
  • Continued ability to deliver experiences that are user-focused and adhere to accessibility and security/privacy standards.
  • Work with the product development team in driving innovative approaches to solving complex problems.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of Software Engineering experience with track record of driving multiple products/versions from inception to delivery. Hands on experience with iOS technologies (Objective C, Swift, Cocoapods, Xcode, WebKit, etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of end to end software development life cycle and iOS platform.
  • Ability to work with cross organization teams.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms and design patterns.
  • Ability to appreciate complex problems with a thorough design and collaborate with multiple partners on common goals.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Python and Web technologies is desirable.
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
