Our team is dynamic and there is constant room for learning and growth, as we race to keep out well-meaning pen-test teams, as well as the not-so-well-meaning external attackers.

The Microsoft365 Core Security Team is looking for a seasoned Program Manager, with strong technical PM skills, to develop next generation authentication and authorization capabilities for a service as critical as Office365. If you are passionate about secrets, their power and lifecycle – this team is for you. We are looking for a strong technical PM who can drive our vision for access control on Microsoft 365 products/solutions that are built on Azure. This position needs you to have a passion for technology and design, data-based decision making, partner engagement, and execution skills. If this sounds interesting to you then we should talk!

Responsibilities

As a PM on the team you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the authentication story within O365 services
  • Develop and express an attacker mindset in all design efforts around access management solutions, to protect Office’s customer data stored in systems architected on Azure
  • Design and implement features to extend the Office Identity & Access Management platform’s support of Office applications platformed on Azure-native services
  • Create a prioritized roadmap of product work needed to support the multitude of Office 365 services.
  • Collaborate closely with component owners as well as service teams to roll out the latest security policies such that the customer data is always protected.
  • Define and drive telemetry improvements, and dashboards capturing the adoption and health of the solution.
  • Represent your metrics in various CVP reviews, customer briefings, & security conferences

Qualifications

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
  • 4+ years of industry experience as a Program Manager
  • Experience shipping large scale software
  • Proven ability to influence and drive strategy at feature level scope
  • Passion for working on technical challenges and willingness to get your hands dirty to get the job done
  • sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, craftsmanship & completeness
  • Experience working across teams / divisions, bringing people together to achieve the goal
  • Experience in the security and access control space is a huge plus
