Reporting to the Dynamics 365 Product Group COO, this Principal PM role will drive accountability and enhanced decision making by developing partnerships, processes, and reporting that enhances managerial decision making. You will align diverse teams on financial best practices, prepare and manage accountability to budgets, and reduce operational overhead for the entire group


Build appropriate financial reporting to support managerial decision making (i.e. accountability and investments) across the Dynamics Product Group (DPG) portfolio. Standardize our approach to business case development in support of investment decisions

Drive accountability around efficiency efforts. Partner with BAG finance, the exec office, and app engineering leaders to hit Azure cost-down targets. Understand and evangelize cloud best practices across the group

Drive forecasting and prepare the annual budget (COGS, OPEX, Vendor) across the group. Collaborate with the CoS and COO to establish policy. Facilitate forecasts and budget planning and establish, maintain, and improve on the accountability model. Drive clarity in key systems around service ownership and structure

Simplify and reduce overhead burden of headcount management. Drive adherence to process and ensure DPG hits its quarterly and annual targets


At least 5 years of financial management, reporting, P&L creation experience

5+ years of partnering with and driving accountability across technology teams

Ability to collaborate and partner across teams: E.g. Marketing, Business Planning, Finance, Engineering Leadership and BAG central functions

Ability to think strategically and understand technical and architectural drivers

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the data and the details

Love for dissecting and navigating existing processes and systems to get to the right outcomes (can’t be a bull in a china shop – need to figure out how it works and then affect change)
