About the Role

As Channel Account Manager: Industrial, you'll own the full cycle relationship with VARs, SIs, VADs and other resellers in Samsara’s Industrial segment. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial role in which you will identify, on-board and work with strategic partners focused on next generation Industrial Automation for remote sites and infrastructure. Channel partnerships are the primary route to market for Samsara Industrial, and are critical to scaling Samsara’s mission of improving the Efficiency, Safety, and Sustainability of our customers operations.

CAM activities will include co-development of partners services, program building and execution, marketing, training and enablement, and relationship building and management from the C-suite down all done with high-touch collaboration with Samsara’s Industrial leadership team.

This position is based in our San Francisco HQ location.

An ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years sales experience with consistent, documented overachievement
  • 2+ years partnership/channel management experience
  • Experience in building/running channel enablement tools & content
  • Experience with building and running sales training and enablement programs
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience working with Industrial Automation and/or Machine Vision deployments a plus
  • Referenceable experience building, executing and iterating on measurable engagements from the ground-up

Regarding COVID-19

With the spread of COVID-19, Samsara's global offices will remain closed until further notice with the exception of employees that require access to hardware and lab equipment.

Our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our employees as well as candidates. We have transitioned all interviews and onboarding to be conducted virtually via Zoom video conferencing. Employees are also able to work from countries and states where Samsara is a registered entity through June 2021. All employees are expected to return to our offices when they reopen with the exception of field-based roles.
