|Job Type:||Full Time|
At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
TE Connectivity’s Strategy MBA Summer internship program is designed to provide interns with real-world experience in developing and articulating strategies for high-impact business opportunities in the industrial technology space.
During the 10–12 week internship, you will be a member of the Strategy group – a dynamic, well-regarded and high visibility team. The Strategy team is also an entry-point for high potential talent and offers opportunities for increasing responsibility within Strategy as well as accelerated transition to business roles across TE.
The main role of the Strategy team is to help enhance shareholder value by supporting Enterprise and Business leadership in developing strategies that drive profitable above-market organic and inorganic growth. You will be assisting the team to fulfill this role by working directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and other senior business leaders on high impact / high visibility strategy projects – such as shaping TE portfolio composition, identifying growth opportunities in new adjacent spaces, and assessing paths to win and maximize value in new markets and key technology megatrends.
Given the nature of work, the operating model of the Strategy team within TE is very close to that of a management consulting firm - e.g., working on high-impact project assignments, applying a hypothesis-driven approach, drive top-down thinking and strong analytics. In addition to that, working in an embedded strategy function affords opportunities beyond those available in consulting – continuous focus on value creation, connecting strategy with execution, time to go beyond immediate project objectives to go deep in understanding a global business at the forefront of co-creating the next frontier of technology applications.
Interning with TE will provide you with a unique opportunity to work on real-life strategic problems linked to the major technology megatrends, hone your strategic problem-solving / consulting skillset, and get exposure to the senior leadership of a $13B global industrial technology company. In addition to driving meaningful projects, you will get familiar with company operations through manufacturing site visits and will join our TE Community with participation in a broad range of social events such as TE MBA Internship Cohort activities, Annual Summer Strategy Picnic, etc.
At the end of the internship, successful candidates will be considered for full-time placement in the Strategy team at TE Connectivity.
