We are the Fleet Insights and Management team in Azure. We power the platform that enables Microsoft to automate buildout and operation of the most trustworthy and reliable cloud platform with a holistic understanding of assets, entities, processes and their relationships. We enable Security & Compliance reporting and analytics on the Cloud and Edge. C+AI Security, Azure Security Center and Datacenter Security rely on our platform to meet security and compliance requirements. We enable Azure Global to accelerate velocity and reliability of Region and Data Center Buildouts as we expand our cloud footprint. Platforms like Azure Brain and Skywalker use our Graph platform for Impact and Root Cause Analysis of Outages and Incidents. Our data quality platform enables both our partners and us to monitor and deliver high quality data to power the above scenarios. We are the One Inventory and Asset Management platform for Microsoft, and moving forward, we will enable our enterprise customers in verticals like Manufacturing and Health Care to automate their Asset Management and Operations with our platform. We will also offer our Data Quality Platform as a Service to our enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

As a Program Manager on the Fleet Inventory and Graph team, you will work with our partners to understand business priorities and translate them to OKRs and functional specs for execution. You will define the roadmap for large multi-semester initiatives. You will own and drive key business scenarios end to end from definition to delivery. You will engage with partners to brainstorm and ideate new scenarios that leverage existing assets in the Fleet and Graph platforms, and make the business case for investing in these scenarios. You will build deep relationships with stakeholders, and lead presentations and manage expectations at the executive level. You will go deep technically and work closely with the engineering team to deliver results.

You are deeply technical and analytical, with a scrappy, go-do mindset. You are ready to roll up your sleeves whenever needed. You deal well with ambiguity, are self-motivated and directed, and can bring clarity to problems. You are precise in your goal setting, bring critical thinking to the role, balance strategic vs. tactical opportunities and own and drive initiatives to completion. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

You have 5+ years of experience and expertise as a product or technical program manager in one or more of the following areas:

  • Cloud Security and Compliance
  • Cloud Region, Data Center and Service Buildout
  • Cloud Service Health and Root Cause Analytics
  • Cloud Data Center Asset and Inventory Management
  • Cloud Analytics, Graph and Big Data Platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CS or Engineering degree.
  • Experience working on Perimeter Security, Vulnerability Scanning, Firmware Security, Service Deployment, Cloud Capacity and Failure Prediction
