Here in the Customer Experiences Team (CXT), our goal is to deliver Gamer Happiness, by guiding Gamers with empathy and reducing pain at every turn. To accomplish our goals our team works tirelessly with teams across Xbox Product Services (XPS), Gaming, Customer Support, and the entirety of Microsoft to eliminate customer pain points and open doors to all gamers around the world to ensure everyone gets the best out of their gaming experience.
In this role, you will be part of the backend services team responsible for building creative, scalable, high quality services and solutions that deliver personalized support to gamers in a systematic and consistent way across all customer touchpoints – Xbox, PC, web, and mobile. These solutions pave the way to predictive and proactive support through continued investment in ML and AI solutions.

We work closely with our client and data engineering teams to ensure we create a seamless end to end solution that is customer-focused, data-driven, and high-quality.
We are looking for a software engineer with excellent coding, problem solving, and collaboration skills that is excited to contribute in a strong team-focused environment.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other equivalent technical degree
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C++, C#, Java)
- Excellent design and coding skills, with a strong emphasis on quality and engineering excellence
- Excellent creative and iterative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment
- A passion for Gaming and/or customer-focused solutions
- Experience on backend services and infrastructure
- Experience working on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS
