Responsibilities

As a Senior PM in the Core Platform Engineering – SAP , you will part of a team that delivers several SAP Finance capabilities, which support business critical processes including Global Trade, Revenue Recognition, Transfer Pricing, Intercompany, Accounts Receivables, Treasury and Payments, Credit and Collections, Fixed Assets and Consolidation. You will enable real business scenarios like integrating acquisitions, delivering revenue lifecycle capabilities for new products, support new go to market motions while ensuring security and compliance, reliability, user experience and efficiency. You will collaborate with multiple business stakeholders and while you understand your customer’s needs, you also define a “North Star” that will help guide a product roadmaps to enable business to achieve short term and long term goals.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience and skills:

  • Collaborate effectively partner with globally dispersed Business and Engineering stakeholders to clearly articulate business outcomes and objectives
  • Define and design SAP Product and Service- create design options for SAP feature areas
  • Understand customer needs, manage intake and prioritization with business and partners, coordinate work estimation, project planning and execution, risk mitigation and communication for service delivery
  • Partner with Service Line, Architecture and Software Engineering leads to ensure solutions meet business outcomes and objectives
  • Ensure alignment with clear articulation of vision and ability to “Tell the Story”

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Design, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
  • 8 years' minimum experience in Program Management, Product Management, or Software Development.
  • Experience with stakeholder management especially in the areas of Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain or Operations
  • 4+ years of SAP experience in the ERP FI module
  • Demonstrated engineering PM skills and track record of project execution
  • Working within a global team structure

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred, not required:

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with major third-party systems in implementation, operation, and configuration (SAP preferred). ERP experience FI module a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience presenting and communicating effectively to GM/VP level stakeholders.
  • 8+ years of Program Management experience with 3+ years of experience as a manager
  • Experience building Azure-based services a plus
  • Understanding of business processes in the Finance, Commerce, HR, or Supply Chain areas
  • Experience developing project plans and managing releases with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as: SCRUM, SAFE or other agile methodologies
