Within Microsoft Federal Services, the U.S. Delivery Center, (USDC) Center of Excellence, (COE) in Las Colinas, TX is responsible for the remote delivery of services offerings for our U.S. Federal customers. Our goal is to drive high Customer satisfaction for all deliveries, with a cross-functional team of Consultants supporting cloud adoption across M365, Azure and D365 and specific to the Government cloud environments.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our USDC Modern Work (MW) COE team in the functional capacity of a Technical Lead.


The core responsibilities of a Senior Consultant (Senior Technical Lead) include:

  • Collaborate across the USDC with all Senior Tech Leads to accelerate USDC usage through Federalized offering development and new customer solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across the MW Center of Excellence
  • Develop training plans to ramp USDC Consultants onto offerings and solutions delivered by the USDC team.
  • Prepare communication plans and key message content that align to client culture and business rhythm.
  • Oversee projects and programs as assigned to drive USDC adoption and success metrics.
  • Maintain and expand technical depth within our MW technical capability - solution areas


Required Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience required in one or more primary MW technical areas:
    • Messaging (Exchange)
    • Communication (Skype, Teams)
  • Business management within consulting, organizational change, program management, and related field expertise.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.


  • Experience with Federal Customers, their processes and use of technologies.
  • Architect Development Program and/or TLDP / STLP program participants or individuals experienced with business development, account growth, delivery planning.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience preferred in one or more secondary MW technical areas:
    • Collaboration (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
    • Endpoint Management/Deployment (SCCM, Intune, MDM/MAM)
    • Application Management/Deployment (Win10, Office ProPlus)
  • Experience with a diverse set of industries is a plus.

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.     Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
