The Microsoft Security and Compliance team is looking for a strong, motivated, independent and energetic Principal Product Manager to drive the next wave of security innovation in our consumer email service. You’ll not only contribute daily towards enhancing one of the most used email services in the world, you’ll contribute towards protecting customers against evolving threats and contributing to making them more productive.
There are key innovations happening in this space that combine machine learning backed security intelligence with rich protection features that are exposed to end users through intuitive experiences.
In this role, to be successful, you will actively channel your creative juices to create amazing technical innovation, define metrics of success, and ensure our customer satisfaction and security effectiveness targets are met, and help bring feedback back to the team to drive further refinement and innovation. Some of this will involve swimming in data and deriving insights. But most importantly, you will need to be a team player who works well within and cross the team with a winning collaborative style, stellar work ethic and an attitude that integrates well into the high-trust environment that the team prides itself in having.

- 8+ years of experience in technical Product Management/Program Management.
- Experience in shipping multiple cloud scale services.
- Experience with email services and consumer services is a plus.
- Advanced technical problem solving skills.
- Passionate customer advocate.
- Relentless drive for results.
- Excellent written & verbal communication and project management skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
