Principal Software Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled engineer to solve many of our most difficult technical problems, work across teams and organizations to align on technical architecture and strategy, and act as a leader on our team. This role will be a combination of coding, architecture, technical vision and direction, and role model.

  

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • High coding contribution across a large number of our major projects along with technical leadership to other engineers on the team.
  • Work collaboratively with PM, design, with a high performing team of developers and across engineering teams to help deliver the platform and experiences for productivity in the cloud.
  • Drive cross organization alignment on hard technical problems to align the larger project goals.
  • Driving through ambiguity and helping create clarity for engineers 
  • Create well architected technical designs, technical leadership, and your own significant code contributions.   
  • Help grow and mentor our team of developers and inspire them to do something amazing.  

  

Candidate Requirements:

  • A computer science background (B.S. or equivalent degree)
  • 10+ years engineering experience
  • Experience working in a technical leadership and architect capacity 
  • Experience developing large scale services or applications targeting a broad and active user base 
  • Strong problem-solving and algorithm development skills.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Ability to drive technical decisions cross teams and divisions.
