The Global Enablement Team is focused on driving alignment of people, process and priorities with relevant learning, coaching and communication delivered at the right time to help Okta and its partners to achieve revenue and growth goals.

As the Global Partner Enablement Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the channel program content for internal and external audiences to drive alignment across our global ecosystem. The position requires strong curriculum building, course creation, writing and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for the successful creation of eLearning modules, supporting collateral and messaging for our partner ecosystem. The Content Manager will work closely with several cross-functional teams including Sales and Technical Enablement, Partner Success, Alliance SE’s, Global and Regional Sales and Channel Leads and others to facilitate a drive towards self-sufficiency by Okta’s robust global partner community. The ideal candidate is a high energy individual with hands-on, customer-facing technical expertise and experience working cross-functionally. You are a passionate and solid communicator, skilled in the delivery of quality training and enablement projects. Quality, on time deliverables, and unwavering focus on customer success are of paramount importance to your success in this position. You demonstrate flexibility and a desire to participate in the growth and scale of a successful global enablement practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design with eLearning development skills and creation of knowledge transfer curriculum and bundles
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and experience in developing and creating Distribution enablement paths to increase efficiency and scale
  • Previous success in developing enablement approach and content for an Authorized Distributor designation which empowers and permits that distributor to train and act as our extension to their resellers
  • Understanding of sales methodologies and the ability to align content to opportunity management and sales cycles
  • Strong organizational skills with a team-centric mindset and the ability to execute.
  • A partner-centric approach and the ability to create/revise content to answer the “what’s in it for the partner” question as well as the ability to see and resolve what’s missing from a partner perspective
  • Post, assign and manage on-demand content and learning paths in multiple learning management systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Okta teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in developing partner sales training, content or enablement programs
  • Demonstrable ability of applied adult learning theory and instructional design with eLearning development skills and creation of knowledge transfer curriculum and bundles.
  • Deep experience in developing and creating enablement content and paths for various global partner types and individual contributor roles to increase efficiency and scale
  • Experience in working with, and creating content for, channels outside of the US (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) satisfying regional-specific requirements
  • Initial focus will be on Distribution partners to drive the transition from fulfillment to Value- Add
  • A partner-centric approach and the ability to create/revise content to answer the “what’s in it for the partner” question as well as the ability to see and resolve what’s missing from a partner perspective
  • Facilitates productive cross-team interaction and is effectively able to represent and execute the Okta’s Enablement team vision
  • Outstanding communication & organizational skills with a team-centric mindset and the ability to execute.
  • Can deliver informative, well-organized presentations using web-based training delivery technology to technical and non-technical audiences; competently uses appropriate classroom management and audience-engagement methods and techniques
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities might change week to week.
  • Previous experience with Cornerstone, Highspot, SFDC and various PRM’s is a plus.
  • Possesses Bachelor's Degree, minimum - Bachelor of Science in Education, preferred
