Microsoft Federal serves the U.S. Government (USG), allowing Microsoft to support the growing government business. The organization supports the capabilities and requirements to service USG through direct sales, contracting, and billing with the USG. Microsoft Federal entity will meet obligations of manage contracts with the USG through six business teams and three enablement teams.

We are looking for a talented individual to lead a team of Cloud Program Managers (CPMs) and Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) who will drive the execution of large-scale, enterprise contracts supporting the Federal Government. This CSA Manager role will directly manage a team of full-time employees that will support Federal customers in their digital transformation.
Customer Success Management
Partner with senior Program Stakeholders and Customers to achieve their desired mission outcomes while maximizing Microsoft’s position on a large enterprise contract
Drive the development of processes, tools, and internal collaboration models to meet required contract milestones and deliverables
Align and prepare the internal Microsoft team and Partner Ecosystem to meet our customers digital transformation goals in alignment with customer objectives and program outcomes
Leadership and Management
Lead a team of 5 to 15 Cloud Program Managers (CPMs) and Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) who will direct large enterprise cloud implementations across multiple projects, workstreams and external and internal teams
Hire, on-board, develop, coach, mentor and evaluate CPMs and CSAs. Set a clear bar for excellence. Build a high performing team that will be diverse and inclusive
Coach and enable your team to accelerate Microsoft projects to production, including recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration
Ensure the successful implementation of Program Objectives. Oversee contract schedules, milestones, deliverables, program reviews, and customer relationship management
Develop strong internal relationships across a large, matrixed team of leaders within Sales, Business Development, Professional Services, Engineering, and Business Functions for the successful execution of the contract
Lead, direct and drive annualized growth and financial performance across a large-scale enterprise contract
Winning New Business
Work with Sales, Business Development and Capture to shape and win large scale contracts
Lead the proposal process for large RFPs or Task Orders. Drive collaboration across all Microsoft orgs that play a part in this process, leading to exceptional proposals to the Government
The ideal candidate is a senior business professional with multi-disciplinary experience who has led enterprise contracts of $10-$250M
Excellent skills in all aspects of Federal contract execution, resource planning, cross-group collaboration, facilitating alignment, and team leadership
Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team
Ability to recognize, analyze, and take action on go to market approaches, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships
Proven success in building long term relationships with key stakeholders and influencers
Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
Experience leading a success team
10 plus years of success in complex portfolio management (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects)
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Ability to act on customer escalation needs, unblock the customer through orchestration of right resources at the right time
Empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills and drive for results required
Federal Industry experience required
Travel ranges from 10-25% depending on location and assignments
The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
