Microsoft has been making significant investments to enable customers to move their virtualization workloads tothecloud. With the recent release of Windows Virtual Desktops, customers can now provide a full Windowsdesktopexperience optimized for Office365 in a multi-user environment hosted on Azure. We have exciting new opportunities in the Commercial Management Experience (CMX) team to help customers take advantage ofmodern technologiesto provide virtualized appsand desktops hosted on Azure.

As a SeniorProgram Manager (PM)in theCMXteam, you will get an amazing opportunity todemonstrate leadershipatbothbusiness and technology level. You will get toextend your knowledge ofdesktop virtualizationand technical areas including Windows, Office,and our cloud-basedmanagement suite, and drive product improvements intoAzure / Windows Virtual Desktop.Youwill be part ofateam designing new capabilities for our core products to enhance the valuetoour customer base. This will also include customer and partner meetings andasmall amount oftravel.


The goal of CMX is to delight users and free up IT. The primaryfocus of the CMXproducts and servicesis to provide the best user experience with Microsoft 365.

In this SeniorProgramManagement (PM)role,you will work closely with multiple engineering teams inMicrosoft (e.g.,Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure,Windows, Office,Microsoft Endpoint Manager),as well as with external partnersto developstrategyanddrive executionto deliver demonstrable value to customers and market.Asapart of the role, you are expected toprovide strongbusiness andtechnical expertise in solving difficult problems,turn ideas into high-qualitysoftwareand services, andultimatelycreateor strengthenunique value propositionsforthe CMX productsand services.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science or other technical field
  • 5+ years of program management experience and shipping products
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and bringing value to our customers
  • Enjoy developing a strong team culture
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and out-of-box thinking
  • Agile, can-do attitude and great at dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience working with virtualization or endpoint management
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in business programs is a plus
  • Excellent track record of shipping and cross group collaboration
