Microsoft Federal serves the U.S. Government (USG), allowing Microsoft to support the growing government business. The organization supports the capabilities and requirements to service USG through direct sales, contracting, and billing with the USG. Microsoft Federal entity will meet obligations of manage contracts with the USG through six business teams and three enablement teams.

The US Federal Consulting Business Applications Center of Excellence is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager with CRM/CE (Customer Engagement) or ERP Enterprise experience. The Dynamics TDM role is a trusted advisor to client project leadership who actively drives communication with leadership within Microsoft and the client to help our customers achieve their objectives. You will provide meaningful, clear and prescriptive advice, grounded in relevant experience, to continuously drive projects through to successful completion. You will be responsible for leading engagement delivery within a formal Statement of Work (SOW) to drive predictable behaviors in terms of project process and outcomes (accomplished on time, on budget, and according to customer specifications). You will be responsible for delivery excellence, engagement quality and customer satisfaction.

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is a critical leadership position responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing some of the highest technical talent inside Microsoft Federal Consulting. We are looking for an experienced and highly dynamic leader to mentor our technical talent with a focus on Business Applications. The right candidate will have exceptional communication, people management and technical delivery experience. The Technical Delivery Manager is a people manager role reporting to a Federal Consulting Services Practice Leader. This role is critical in managing the readiness, staffing and delivery of engagements. The TDM will manage a team of highly specialized Consultants and will collaborate across the broader Microsoft Federal organization to deliver success to our Federal customers’ missions.
A successful TDM's focus areas include: Strong people leadership, collaboration across teams and organization, operational control, resource allocation (headcount and staffing plans), creating an innovate, collaborative and supporting culture, and escalation/expectation management. You will lead and motivate others, evaluate talent, have a high level of selling and customer/partner service skills, and have the ability to think strategically.

10+ years of Enterprise consulting work experience
7+ Years of Federal Government Industry Experience
5+ years people management experience with direct reporting relationships
5+ years working knowledge of Dynamics CRM/AX or experience with a comparable CRM/ERP system
Up to 25% travel under normal circumstances
Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Bachelor (or Master’s) degree or equivalent experience, MBA desirable
Prosci or other change management methodology certification
Candidates be willing to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance and be willing to upgrade.
