The WDX Devices team builds the Windows user experiences that power many of our amazing Surface and 3rd party OEM products. We’re looking for a customer-obsessed PM I with a passion for innovation and a history of delivering great end to end experiences to join our team and help deliver the next generation of amazing device experiences.
As part of the team, you will be defining scenarios for user experiences on next-gen hardware. We are proud of our culture of incubation, experimentation, and concept validation directly with 1st and 3rd party OEM partners. We are looking for someone who can leverage market and user data to inform product requirements and prioritization. You will then use that data to partner with our Design and Engineering teams to define, refine and deliver a world-class experience. To achieve that goal, you will need to collaborate and partner with teams across Microsoft to build support for solutions and partner on the right architectural approach. The ideal candidate must have strong customer empathy and UX skills, and a proactive attitude towards diving into a problem space, identifying and articulating user and business needs, and generating solutions. You should have a proven ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for clarity as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1+ years of program management, product management or product marketing experience
- Passion for delivering customer-obsessed user experiences.
- Demonstrated success delivering user experiences
- Demonstrated success delivering on complex projects
- Demonstrated success driving strategic partner engagements
- Experience working with both consumer and commercial customers
- Understanding of software development and engineering systems
