Finance Operations (FinOps) organization is focused on empowering every stakeholder to achieve more by designing and optimizing trusted global accounting and payment solutions and digitally transforming process and experiences.

The Business Process Manager role will have responsibility for leading and driving world-class global initiatives that focus on excellence and align to our digital transformation vision:

To be successful in the role, candidate will require strong interpersonal skills, influencing without authority, collaboration, leveraging other’s work and helping others to succeed, engagement with multiple business partners including (but not limited to) Corporate Finance Services (CFS) teams, Audit, Corporate External and Legal Affairs (CELA), Procurement, Corporate Function Engineering, FinOps Service Delivery and our Business Process Outsourcer.


Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of (new or existing) global process/service and underlying solution/technology/platforms ensuring its objectives and success.
  • Subject Matter Expert – understand process/solution end to end including inputs, outputs, resources required, interaction with others, etc.
  • Defines process/service vision, driving enterprise focus and reusable capabilities.
  • Defines and executes approach and strategy for global processes and technology.
  • Drives simplification and automation to re-imagine global existing processes, services, and solutions, to increase agility and efficiencies, lower operation costs and reduce complexity while mitigating risk.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to evaluate business value propositions leveraging FinOps Service Delivery - Engagement Managers as appropriate.
  • Accountable for landing transformations with customers/users as well as into FinOps operation centers working with relevant FinOps Service Delivery.
  • Accountable for risk mitigation and compliance within the process – compliance by design, control design owner, SOX Sub-cycle owner.
  • Governs Microsoft engineering partnership (CSEO) to design, implement and run solutions with clear success and prioritization criteria.
  • Define and leverage data that will enable opportunities to drive global processes efficiencies.
  • Accountable for landing transformations with customers/users as well as into FinOps operation centers working with relevant FinOps Service Delivery.
  • Owns sign off for all changes to and implementation of new global processes, including sponsoring the development of strategic partnerships to enable such processes. (i.e. C&C, Procurement, FBI, Corp Accounting, policy owners, etc.).
  • Monitor and identify industry trends.
  • Showcase solutions within Modern Finance.


Requirement & Experiences

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience as business process or operations (Accounts Payable and Travel & Entertainment experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated expertise in the areas of innovation, adopting emerging technologies to modernize processes and/or users experiences and driving ideas and actions from data insights.
  • Demonstrated expertise on solid strategic and tactical business skill.
  • Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and adept at using data to influence business decision.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within an organization and proven ability to establish trust quickly and create win-win situations. Complex problem solving.
  • Project leadership and organizational skills to transform ideas into successful execution while being capable of driving complex projects across multiple groups within tight timelines.
  • Experience in Business Process Outsourcing environment, working in a large multinational environment is a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science or other related disciplines required.
