  • We are looking for an experienced UX researcher with 4+ years of experience who is passionate about working with the product design team to craft highly usable and intuitive flows and experiences for our PC & Mac software, websites and mobile apps. The ideal candidate loves to make the complicated simple, dreams in wireframes and prototypes, knows how to ask the right questions to get the needed insights, and who believes that they have what it takes to help change the world.

  • We need a strong UX researcher that can be a “source of truth” for our product teams.
  • A person who can sit down with designers and engineers to understand the challenges they face or questions they need answered and can turn that into the appropriate research and user tests that reveals the answers.
  • Some challenges will be around flows, and some around establishing the need and understanding of totally new technologies and potential services.

  • Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers to understand the challenges they face or questions they need answered and turn that into the appropriate user test that reveals the answers, compile results into an unbiased presentation.
  • Collect and analyze user behavior through usability testing, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, prototype testing, and online experiments (A/B testing).
  • Be the Dublin product design team’s representative interfacing with the CX team, the Market Research team and the Business Intelligence team.
  • Review, analyze, and communicate qualitative and quantitative data to generate tactical and strategic insights, as well as actionable recommendations which drive insight, product innovation and design improvements for users.
  • Find creative and compelling ways to generate, present, and evangelize results and recommendations throughout the design team, product management, marketing and beyond, to help nurture a highly informed, more effective, and more compassionate organization

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Masters in HCI (or similar field) with minimum +4 years hands on experience doing UX research, conducting qualitative research studies, including usability/user testing, surveys, and user interviews.
  • Strong Experience conducting generative, foundational and iterative user research.
  • Experience conducting cognitive walkthrough, heuristic evaluation and benchmarking studies.
  • Adroit in identity the right research method and the process to analyze the obtained data.
  • Ability to Rapid Prototype, build usability tests, and interpret data intelligently and act rapidly on the information.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating approach and work you're doing across all aspects (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience working from flows and wireframes through to final product.
  • Experience using Sketch, Zeplin, Invision, OmniGraffle, Envision, or similar tools to collaborate with the design team.
  • Wizard level experience demonstrating, AlfaHQ and similar remote testing tools to conduct research that delivers quick accurate results.
  • Deep understanding of human interactive behavior, UX work, flows and wireframes, solving complex experiences, and making them intuitive to the user.
  • Familiarity with industry design language and standards and design protocols.
  • Experience working in Agile development environment a plus.
