Would you like to work on a massive scale service? The Observability Platform Client Ingestion team owns the ingestion service used for telemetry from Windows, XBox, Office, Skype, and hundreds of other Microsoft applications. We ingest over 50 million events/second from 1+ billion devices worldwide. This telemetry is used across Microsoft to make critical business decisions.
We are a DevOps engineering team. We manage all aspects of our services from design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation.
- Design, Implement, Test and Deploy features for our services
- Operate a massive scale cloud service
- Be part of the team’s on-call rotation
- Service optimization and COGS reduction
- Support our partner teams
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Service Fabric
- 2+ years of experience implementing and operating large scale services.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
