Product Marketing Manager – Windows Marketing Operations

In Windows Marketing, our goal is to nurture and grow the population of 1+ billion Windows users who enjoy our product every day. To continue to empower these users to achieve more, we have an opening for a launch lead role to help deliver new releases and products to market. We are looking for a someone with great communication, project management, and cross-function coordination skills to help in this critical aspect of bringing products to market. In this role you will work with your counterparts in marketing and sales to manage the “go to market” plan of record for the twice per year Windows 10 releases and new product introductions. This person will be working across a large set of teams to help plan and execute key moments and intiatives, working with the rest of the Windows Marketing organization, other partner and product marketing teams, PR, store, partner teams, field, and engineering.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Windows Marketing team cross-group effort and “shiproom” meetings to ensure readiness for key Windows release moments
  • Document plan of record for Windows GTM work across marketing, sales and PR to ensure we have cohesive plan designed to meet goals
  • Manage readiness scorecards and identify and document risks
  • Lead v-team with internal Windows Marketing partner teams to ensure they have information and content needed to achieve business goals
  • Develop and evangelize core Windows 10 feature and service availability via the Global Services Matrix

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience, skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills and creativity to inspire cross group teams into action.
  • Experience in product marketing management, program management, or project management especially related to new product launches
  • Familiarity with the Windows marketing, engineering, PR, channel teams (OEM, Store, and retail), as well as the field is helpful but not required
  • Passion for working on the Windows business with massive scale and impact.
  • Strong cross team collaboration and facilitation capabilities
  • Five years of product marketing, product management, project management, and/or business planning experience are requested
