Our team focuses on understanding, predicting, and incentivizing how the advertisers and users interact with our marketplace through algorithm development, optimization, and experimental analysis of advertiser strategies and auction mechanisms. Engineers on our team workon building systems and platforms that helps to enhance our understanding of the marketplace and design solutions and experiments to build on these understandings, contributing to the overall growth of our business.We help derive insights that benefits teams within the organization build better solutions, products, and features that delight our end users.The team also works on new products and features that impact our hundreds of millions of customers WW. The team leverages state of the art machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to make these new products/features feasible, which requires a strong engineering platform as its core foundations.
To be successful in this role the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong learn and be curious attitude. The team is diverse with statisticians, ML scientists and engineers. The successful candidate should be able to bring in diverse perspective from theirpast experienceand skill. The team works on problems that are often ambiguous, and hence strong problem solving skills will be a great qualification. Able to challenge the status quo and champion alternative perspectives will be much celebrate.
- BS in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of SDE experience, OR MS degree in Computer Science with at least 2 years of experience
- 2+ years of C#, Java, C++, Python, R or equivalent experience
- Strong engineering, mathematical and/or analytical skills
- Past background in analytics will be a plus.
