The new Worldwide Security Solution Area in Customer Success (CS) is looking for an experienced Business Manager to support the General Manager (GM) of this newly formed team. You will work closely to support the Security GM and leadership team be successful from a people and business outcome perspective to drive customer success. As a Security Solution Area Business Manager, you will partner closely with the Security leadership team, Customer Success Unit (CSU) leaders, as well as stakeholders within Business Groups, Solutions Team Unit (STU), Engineering, FastTrack, and One Commercial Partner (OCP). Bringing capabilities to coordinate across organizations, quick execution, and Security expertise is essential in this role. These capabilities are key in order for the organization to execute effectively and efficiently in service of delivering on strategy, core priorities and fiscal targets as measured by business outcomes and a healthy scorecard. This position requires strong analysis and the ability to manage high impact work on short deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Security CSU GM to support creating, landing, measuring and executing the Security priorities and commitments.
  • Provide additional capacity for strategic projects including program development, field landing, and cross-org alignment.
  • Build and manage the success of the team to a set of key performance indicators which align with the goals of the Worldwide Security Solutions Area.
  • Create and manage the rhythm of business (ROB), including all-hands, staff meetings, executive reviews, etc. to help the business run smoothly and effectively.
  • Build and deliver internal & external comms plan of record, Executive All Hands, newsletters, executive emails, events, customer stories, etc.
  • Manage organizational health via org programs. 
  • Keep the Leadership Team on track for assigned actions.
  • Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity, and propose workable solutions to challenging problems.
  • Works across various company stakeholders to drive alignment on business outcomes to support Security workloads and help Security show up as a single voice. Serves as a key connecting person with Engineering, product marketing, Solution sales team, FastTrack and One Commercial Partner to develop and align a single sales/consumption motion.


We are looking for a passionate, forward-thinking, results-oriented leader with exceptional sales operations experience, and most importantly, have a people-focused mindset. The role focuses primarily on excellence in execution – rapid prototyping to build, test, learn, and repeat.

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a fast paced, project management, or business management focused role. 

  • The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done through influence by leveraging your extensive interpersonal and collaboration skills. Self-directed, team player: if I don’t know how to get something done, I’ll find someone that does. You must have experience in execution and building relationships and working with executives at all levels. 

  • A strong team player, a natural advocate for teammates, and someone who seeks to support collective business outcomes

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with engineering, corporate headquarters, field teams, and customers at a senior level is an excellent advantage.  

  • Enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty, while driving clarity. 

  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues and results; good project management skills. 

  • Competency in the areas of cross group collaboration, creative problem solving, process development and strategic development. 

  • Strong organizational skills, excellent execution, and follow through skills. 

  • Ability to adapt and change with the needs of an incubating business. 

  • Manages confidentiality without exception; demonstrates outstanding judgment. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. 

  • High personal accountability for self and others and models Microsoft values 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent strongly recommended.
