The Employee Experience team is looking for Principal PM leaders to help create product offerings that will digitally transform the employee lifecycle while protecting their privacy; from onboarding to exit and everything in between. Lead PMs will obsess over customer needs, help define strategic product investments, third party integration opportunities, and own the roadmap for delivery. These roles will require strong partnership with other product teams within Experience + Devices as well as great collaboration with the Microsoft field, and marketing. Candidates' attributes include strategic thinking, customer obsession, a learning mindset, bias for action, and generating energy across a diverse team.
Lead Employee Experience solutions for one or more of the following areas: core user experience, onboarding, ecosystem, commercialization
Contribute to defining the overall product strategy, priorities and roadmap
Work closely with engineering, design and marketing counterparts to build experiences that drive user engagement
Own the strategy, backlog and deliverables, with clear prioritization, and an urgency for learning
Plan for and lead product reviews with engineering team and planning reviews with executive leadership
10+ years of program management or product management experience
Experience leading teams that deliver software products
Track record of talking to customers and addressing their unmet needs
Experience building HR, Learning, Human Capital Management or related software and services
The ability to think creatively and critically about product features, architecture, and capabilities
Innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment
Strong project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical
Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies, service operations at scale, and ability to go deep in technical areas
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
