Cyber-attacks are increasing in volume and sophistication, evading traditional defenses, and posing a growing risk to enterprises from outside criminal organizations and malicious insiders in the organization. The Microsoft Security and Compliance (S+C) team is working to change this reality by building and enhancing a next-generation set of security and compliance services to protect organizations by safeguarding their endpoints, email, identities and applications and ensuring these enterprises can control and improve their posture and organizations compliance processes to minimize their risks.
The Security and Compliance center team is located at the epicenter of S+C building the common portal and experience framework that powers all security and compliance experiences and providing the first line of experiences to interact with customer feedback, facilitate servicing to complex enterprise customer org structures, powering the BI platform for continuous improvement of all S+C experiences and driving common experiences such as search, onboarding, discovery, dashboards etc.

As a PM in the Security and Compliance center (SCC) team you will be expected to:

  • Own the development of the SCC platform by defining the roadmap and feature set through deep understanding of business and technology goals
  • Set the vision and strategy for common experiences that serve both external and internal customers across different business verticals
  • Bringing the solutions to market through ownership of the full product lifecycle (from concept through scoping, spec-ing, validation, productization to GA)
  • Manage internal and external product requests from the S+C feature teams, external partners and customers
  • Lead interaction with Engineering Teams Including helping the technical team make trade-offs based on customer requirements
  • Set measurable and progressive goals using data, and drive achievement of goals and metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners throughout the company to ensure platform adoption and success



  • 3+ years program or product management experience working on large scale commercial services
  • Proven technical skills with the capacity to understand both functional and technical aspects of a complex system
  • Experience in data modeling and analysis
  • Proactive, highly motivated and goal-oriented approach
  • Great people skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, and in fostering cross-group collaboration
  • Proven ability in working with cross-geo teams
  • Demonstrated skills in writing specifications, and in project & dependency management

  • A BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent

  • Strong security and or compliance background, an advantage
  • A BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
