Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Tax Teams develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and local reports. They ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. They assess tax implications surrounding pending mergers and acquisitions. The Tax Teams recommend ways to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. They may administer international tax laws and regulations and also audit financial records to determine tax liability.
The role will report to the Manager, U.S. Tax Reporting. This position is located in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. The person in this role will work closely with tax reporting team members to support the tax compliance, accounting, payments, audits, transfer pricing and related tax processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with U.S. federal and state corporate tax return assembly, print, certified mailing, and scanning
  • Assist with tracking of U.S. state notice amounts, issues and status of follow up
  • Assist with preparation of U.S. federal and state annual extension / quarterly estimated payment vouchers and check requests
  • Assist with preparation of U.S. federal and state filings
  • Assist with collection and tracking of quarterly SOX control approval / documentation
  • Assist with maintenance and storage of U.S. tax documentation (physical and electronic files)
  • Coordinate with legal department for U.S. annual reports, tax clearances, other
  • Assist with monthly tax accounting reconciliation and provision reports
  • Assist with transfer pricing weekly/monthly/quarterly analysis, calendars and/or reports

What your background should look like:

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years tax compliance experience or similar
  • Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with tax systems, SharePoint or working knowledge of SAP / HFM a plus
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers, operations, and third parties
  • Ability to collaborate with leads and other team members
