Become a founding member of the new Microsoft WebDefenseteam, chartered with innovating new technologies to protect customers from phishing, social engineering, credential theft, credit card scams, and the emerging threats plaguing society. We arelooking forahighly driven and motivatedsoftwareengineer to work onbuilding new sensors, detections, and protections into Windows. Youwill be a part of a team thatwill provide the foundation for protecting customers across all products (Windows, Edge, Office, etc.), while supporting the rapidly growing $7B Microsoft Threat Protection security business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple teams across Windows, architecting and implementing solutions deeply integrated intotheOS stack
  • Break down complex issues and collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment

Qualifications

  • Computer Science/Engineering Degree (or similar)
  • 3+ years of industry software development experience in C/C++
  • Proven track record architecting and developing robust and extensible solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Industry experience with one or more of the following: Windows OS programming, modern C++, cross-platform development
