Our team is working on building new platform capabilities for Governance and Privacy Compliance across the Azure stack. For our customers to maintain control and compliance over their data, we are making a big bet on building platform features that enable compliant Asset Management, complete with Discovery, Classification, Data Lineage, Insights, and Privacy Operations. These capabilities will allow for better data-driven decisions to be made by the enterprises that stake their reputation on top of us. We need engineers who want to build experiences and services in a way that empowers our customers, while ensuring compliance and privacy, to help build trust.
Privacy is one of the top challenges for our industry today, we will not be satisfied with the status quo, and we are dedicated to continually improving. We want to go beyond the standard techniques that are typically used to deliver these kinds of experiences to Enterprise Cloud customers, and so we are looking for candidates who want to apply cutting edge ideas around machine learning, trend detection, outlier analysis, predictive models, and other advanced data mining techniques to deliver these capabilities in near real time.
We are looking for engineers who have a track record of success, who deliver results, and who (preferably) have a background in building compelling user experiences and services. Everyone on the team owns significant areas of the system, directly contributes to the vision, direction, and implementation of new features, and are key to the success of our products. You will collaborate on your designs across our partner engineering teams and work closely with our PMs to design, build, and maintain a growing set of features that will serve the needs of our customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT technical discipline or in place of 2+ years of internship or 2+ years of industry engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer designing, implementing, and shipping cloud services or software products
- 5+ years of programming experience in Java OR C++ OR C OR object-oriented programming
- 3+ years of professional experience with UX development technologies (React, Angular, JS/TS, CSS/LESS, Redux, or other relevant languages).
- Experience developing SDK’s or other client tools.
- Experience building and shipping production grade software or services.
- Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Experience creating and shipping V1 products using modern development practices.
- Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD).
- Great curiosity and willingness to question.

- Experience with Open-Source Big Data Stack such as Hadoop, HIVE, SPARK, HBASE etc.
