Key Fleet Account Executive (Sales Manager) - Bay Area

We are looking for a talented Account Executive, Key Fleet Accounts to join our team specializing in Sales for our Bay Area Fleet Sales in San Leandro, CA.



In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Responsible for leading an account team and customer relationships through the sales and account support cycle and executes sales and business development plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals within assigned customers


  • Develops new and expands existing customer relationships within the Customer. Leads the communication and relationship fostering of the account team


  • Achieves revenue goals associated with revenue and profit targets


  • Extends and expands sale of products and services to new and existing customers


  • Negotiates and implements contracts with accounts as authorized


  • Manages accounts receivable deliverables including payment term negotiation discussions


To be successful in this role you will need the following:


  • Experience as a Territory Account Executive (TAE) Primary responsibilities include; building relationships with and supporting On Highway Key fleets. Deliverables are achieving Cummins engine market share targets for medium/heavy duty trucks and revenue targets for parts and service.


  • Strong understanding of the trucking industry, clean engine funding, air quality and other regulations affecting fleets in Bay Area/Northern CA


  • Assist with specifications for new trucks and optimize customer’s current engine settings/parameters


  • Manage Key fleet customers to maintain and increase the purchases of new Cummins-powered medium/heavy duty trucks



Compensation and Benefits


Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
