HR Services is critical to the overall effectiveness of the HR experience across Microsoft. HR Services brings the HR support model and experience to the scale of the global Microsoft employee population by providing the platform for end-to-end operational services and employee experiences. HR Services is responsible for the operational delivery across a broad range of employee life-cycle experiences such as onboarding, talent movement, and offboarding.
The HR Architectfor the global New Hire Programplays a key role in the delivery ofahigh-qualityexperience for ourbusiness leaders, managers and employees, and the HR Community.You willfocus on building scalableexperiences, services, and toolsand will be responsible for working across functions to develop, design, implement, and deliver complex programs and solutions to support a delightful experience as new employees prepare to join Microsoft.
You will be responsible for transforming theend-to-end New Hire processes andonline experience through global governance and ROB, policy development, process design and optimization, tool decisions and enhancements, data quality and compliance, and program and project management.You will workat global scale, building partnerships across organizations and leveraging data and insights to drive optimization and transformation.
Center of Excellence (CoE) Management:You manage the intake and ongoing adoption ofthe New Hire Program globally; you implement policy, process, and tools; you ensure regional perspectives are incorporated into the design and implementation ofthe New Hire Programs in partnership with regional operational managers.
Program Readiness:You lead the operation ofthe New Hire Programbased on established project plans; you make recommendations to support program readiness.
Tool and Process Feedback:You lead the process of gathering and prioritizing tool and process feedback from key operational stakeholders in partnership with program subject matter experts, vendors, and Engineering partners.
Operations Management:You develop business cases; you partner with program owners and operations stakeholders for current and future business process documentation to support planning and design stages of new solution development.
Project Alignment:You implement project plans and track progress and deliverables; you contribute insights in project meetings; you communicate with relevant stakeholders/project sponsors/steering committee (e.g., business leaders,HRand Engineering partners) about project status and impacts.
Project Analysis:You provide operational, infrastructure, and employee support analysis during planning stages of new project proposals; you present analysis results and recommendations to facilitate project management; you identify opportunities to improve services and employee experience; you evolve service of the operations team and quality of the projects supported.
Business Analysis:You provide business analysis through system telemetry and provide insights for optimization projects to inform business decisions aimed at reducing costs and improving quality.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ yearsofexperience in operations, compliance, human resources, engineering, or related field
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 5+ yearsofexperience in operations, compliance, human resources, engineering, or related field
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience partnering with a wide network ofglobal partnersand across Human Resources to deliver effective businesssolutions
- Strong communication skills(both verbal and written)
- Ability tofocus on the big picture and prioritize andperformeffectively in a highly ambiguous and fast-pacedenvironment
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
