Job Description

Responsible for leading a Global Payments Products team in vision, strategy, roadmap, budget, thought leadership and capability delivery across a family of Payments core network transaction processing platform products that provides premier services/capabilities and experience to our customers. This includes all aspects of the product life-cycle from product development (vision, strategy, market research/acceptance, industry alignment, roadmap planning, concept ideation, continued relevancy, and profitability) to product capability delivery (capability delivery, agile SDLC methodology, process and controls) and to product readiness (market launch, product/operational readiness).

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitors market for product opportunities

  • Develops strategic product road map

  • Develops documentation to gain approval to begin product development

  • Manages ongoing enhancements to the products and executional issues

  • Sets and Supports the product vision

  • Product Development

    • Develop, execute and iterate product vision and strategy that translates to a product development roadmap and delivers business value (profitability, continued relevancy)

    • Monitor and leverage knowledge of the market to identify opportunities and industry alignment

  • Product Leadership

    • Provide thought leadership, critical thinking and culture of ideation through leading, managing and development of a high performing Product leadership team of product managers, product owners and business analysts/strategists.

    • Build and maintain key business relationships (internal and external), culture and common commitment across the product eco-system

    • Manage finances assigned in product area and support the financial performance of the company

  • Product Delivery – Capabilities

    • Champion product initiatives to ensure work is prioritized with highest business value

    • Leverage partnerships across multiple functions (technology, operations, products, marketing, legal, risk) to ensure collaboration, transparency in the execution of the product roadmap including product platform capabilities delivery and product readiness

  • Product Readiness

    • Apply product excellence through-out the product development and delivery life-cycle to ensure successful launch / deployment of product capabilities to the marketplace with high quality, awesome customer experience and high business value

    • Ensure a solid operational, risk and control environment exists across the product eco-system

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Technology or related field

  • Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in Payments, Product development, technical product development, financial services, marketing or related

  • In lieu of Education Experience: 12+ years of experience in product development, technical product development, financial services, Marketing or Related

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Technology or related field

  • 6+ years Product Management or Related

  • Agile software development methodologies / DevOps / CICD experience
