The Livesite and Services Excellenceteam is looking for a Senior software engineer to drive software and services reliability into business processes than span the various technologies used in Core Services and Engineering (IT). This position will offer you the ability to apply the breadth of your design and development skills to a wide array of business problems, each of which will be targeted to create measurable impact in reliability, latency, errors, or saturation, while generally influencing cultural awareness around service reliability. You would be required to work with business partners that own business processes that run on a variety of platforms, identify areas of service reliability exposure, and then partner with them to develop concrete solutions. To that end, we are looking for a person who combines strong leadership, technical depth/breadth and great cross-group skills.

About the team: The Livesite and Services Excellence team consists of top software and service engineers tasked with driving and developing processes and best practices that lend to cultural excellence in service health across the division. We have broad scope and influence in establishing a Live Site first culture through service reviews; training and education; establishing standards for service health metrics and best practices; and developing platforms that simplify the work of engineers in satisfying their security, compliance, accessibility, and service hygiene requirements. Our goal is to help our customers achieve sustainable excellence in service health and compliance, and to use data and automation to progressively make it easier and more efficient.


The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for technology, a technical background, and possess a strong interest in site reliability and in making others great. They will be an experienced and high performing software engineer, capable of design and develop a large & complex product. The position will involve technical leading the feature team, authoring design documents, and apply a breadth of development skills versatile enough to be applied to potentially disparate platforms.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Experience designing and developing multi-component architectures

- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of C# and KDL or SQL
- Experience in developing enterprise scale product
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Exceptional interpersonal relationship and communication skills, verbal and written (peers, executives, cross culture)
- Experience in ADO, in developing large scale services or Azure is a plus
