Microsoft Federal serves the U.S. Government (USG), allowing Microsoft to support the growing government business. The organization supports the capabilities and requirements to service USG through direct sales, contracting, and billing with the USG. Microsoft Federal entity will meet obligations of manage contracts with the USG through six business teams and three enablement teams.

The Business Desk team at Microsoft works with customers to understand their needs and translate requirements into customized solutions.Collaborating with customers of all sizes, you are empowered to design/execute creative solutions that will accelerate digital transformation. We work in partnership with sales teams and other key stakeholders to analyze data and incorporate feedback that delivers technology to those serving our U.S. Federal Government customers.
- 5+ years experience with license product contract management
- Make key decisions using business judgment and financial analytics
- Share insights and strategies with internal teams to drive and influence program/product direction
- Work with customers to negotiate complex terms and conditions
- Work with legal and business groups to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure sales and negotiation strategies adhere to guidelines, policies and legal standards
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to create solutions for customers and identify blockers
- Analyze trends, pricing analysis, and customer input to close custom deals
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to influence and work cross-organizationally
- Negotiation experience
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Extensive orchestration experience across stakeholders/orgs
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent industry experience
- Software/Cloud Services experience preferred

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
