Microsoft’s BAG AI is working on cutting-edge AI models for business applications. The team is focused on applying advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques to customer-facing products, such as conversational AI, question answering, entity recognition, and recommendation. We are a hybrid team between research and product, with positions ranging from researchers, applied scientists, to software engineers; and we have the flexibility to tackle challenging and exciting research problems that are highly related to product requirements. Publication in top conferences as a byproduct of work is encouraged. Simultaneously, we track and work on state-of-the-art natural language understanding (NLU) models targeting high-visibility and world-class AI leaderboards. We have previously held the top positions in a few of them, such as GLUE, SuperGLUE, WikiSQL, SciTail, SWAG, SNLI and SQuAD
As a Researcher, you will work with other researchers and engineers in the team to design and build natural language models and applications with product quality. We are looking for researchers who can own and lead a research direction and work with product team to perform cutting-edge research. You will have the opportunities to work with interns and build collaborations with other researchers inside Microsoft or universities.
- 3+ years’ experience in machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, or related field.
- Strong public record in top conference
- Proficient at coding in Pytorch
- PhD degree in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or related fileds
