We are looking for program manager to help chart the future for Microsoft Azure. We are part of the core Azure compute team and enable customers to manage at scale their hybrid environment. This position is to help drive planning and implementation for feature areas within the Azure Arc team. Come be part of future innovations in Azure and help drive industry wide solutions that change the way our customers and partners manage their hybrid cloud
You will be part of a team that is building large scale software projects in an open-source model.
Work with internal partner teams and customers to identify product requirements and translate into feature design.
You will drive feature specification, planning and implementation aligned to the broader Azure Arc strategy in cooperation with engineering partners.
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter, rationalize across multiple technology areas, have technical and analytical skills, excellent cross-group collaboration, and a passion for customers. You should also have a track record of delivery, preferably in a services environment. Finally, you should be able to demonstrate both creativity and the ability to deliver on new ideas.
2+ years of technical program management, product management, or engineering experience
2+ years of experience shipping products/services
1+ years of Kubernetes experience
Great presentation skills
Strong cross-team collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong technical background and solid foundation in software or platform engineering principles and architecture
Hands-on coding experience
BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical disciplines
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
