Job Type:Full Time

Have you ever had the experience of implementing a micro-service that depends on another micro-service but you aren't sure how to call its REST API? Or wondering if there is already a micro-service in your organization that does what you need? Or your Azure application stopped working and you wanted to find out what changed in either the configuration or any dependent APIs? These are problems faced by cloud developers every day. With a vast set of possibilities, it's always very time-consuming to search for that reusable API during development and diagnose an issue in the production environment. It's also difficult to manage versions of application and APIs as they change over time.

We are a team in the Developer Division focused on making Azure the best cloud for developers. We work on services that help Azure developers during various phases of the development cycle: developing services, publishing APIs of those services, managing, discovering and consuming services within your organization, diagnosing problems with those services and investigating changes that might have affected those services. Our team owns the entire tech stack, from portal UI down to the backend powering these capabilities.

We are looking for engineers with a passion for cloud developer tools and services who can help us tackle this challenge. Experience in a programming language such as C#, C++, or Java, experience with investigating complex technical problems and ability to work with many partner teams are must-haves. Knowledge and experience with Azure or cloud development is a plus.
