About the job
The Business Applications Domain is home to a variety of expert roles such as Delivery Managers, Program- Project Managers, Architects and Consultants. This team is at the forefront, leading the presales and delivery of large multi-million USD customer engagements and is measured for customer success and platform adoption. Typical engagements will have Dynamics as a central theme alongside other technologies and capabilities and hence tap into the art and science of organizing and managing the ambitions of many internal and external stakeholders. These engagements will typically have a central customer project location steering the results and adoption impact across many countries and hundreds of users.
A Consultant is a major contributor to the project implementation success. They must be effective in fostering customer relationships. They gather, analyze, and document the customer requirements. They can question and challenge the Customer in order to deeply understand and define their needs. They recognize any inconsistency, assumptions and identify critical elements. They use their knowledge and the Microsoft collective knowledge to identify and propose the best possible solution for the Customer. They facilitate and accelerate the decision process, considering the customer’s business strategy, drivers, requirements and challenges; whilst bearing in mind the relevant industry trends. They are key contributors during Project implementation, from the requirements analysis, system configuration, gaps definition, tests enablement to the go-live support. They work hand in hand with members of the project Team, be it Microsoft, Partners or Customer employees.
A Microsoft Consultant demonstrates their Growth Mindset on a daily base. They contribute to best practices and share lessons learned to with the global Microsoft community.
Must have qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of relevant work experience, with 3+ implementation of ERP multi-phase enterprise large scale project implementation Dynamics ERP solutions with a focus on retail, finance, or supply chain management.
- Dynamics 365 ISV solutions
- Additional industry vertical knowledge – Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, etc.
- AzureDevOps (Team Foundation Server/ VSTS)
- Power Apps / Power BI
